North Coast Music Together offers three trained
Music Together© teachers for music-making classes.
Jose Quezada and Heather Shelton
We are passionate about music and the development of children.
We create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement
and supports each child's musical development.

José Quezada - Tuesday and Saturday
Jose has lived in Humboldt County for 45+ years. He helped start the first Head Start preschools in Humboldt County, and was on the floor with kids for more than six years. José was appointed as Commissioner with First 5 Humboldt, serving four years. José successfully completed the Music Together® Teaching Workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children, Princeton, New Jersey in October 2008.
Heather Shelton - Tuesday and Saturday
Heather has lived in Humboldt County for 30 years. She is ballet trained, and has enjoyed music and movement all of her life. She has performed in numerous Humboldt Light Opera Company productions and sang soprano with the company's women's chorus. Heather is also a certified personal trainer and an oil pastel artist. Heather successfully completed the Music Together® Teaching Workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children, Princeton, New Jersey in February 2009.
